Megan is an LISW in the state of Ohio and holds her CCTP (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional) and PMD (Perinatal Mood Disorders) certifications.


Megan is a licensed social worker with over 10 years of experience. She received her bachelor’s in social work and masters of education as an intervention specialist from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.  She also obtained a master’s of social work from Case Western Reserve University.

She has worked in hospice to provide therapeutic intervention to families, individuals, and couples as they work through major life events. Additionally, she has worked within the hospital systems for oncology, obstetrics, hospice, crisis, and as a case manager providing therapy to a range of complex needs.

Megan believes in building relationships with clients and allowing a holistic therapeutic relationship to naturally occur. She is focused on combinations of modalities, including, mindfulness, strength-based, motivational interviewing, and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), that are individualized and tailored to each case.

 

She will create different ways to communicate that allows the individual to develop through their most effective communication style. Megan specialize in depression, post-partum mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, crisis, life changes, grief and loss, SUD, behavioral, and adjustment disorders. I work with individuals, families, youth, and couples.
